Beach Access 5 and 6 Remain Closed

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - Beach access No. 5 and 6 will stay closed today until further notice.
Cameron County Judge Carlos Cascos ordered the closure as a precaution due to the risk for high tide and strong winds.
A spokesperson for the emergency management department tells us this is standard practice under the current conditions.
