Beach Access 5 and 6 Temporarily Closed

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - Cameron County Judge Carlos Cascos ordered the temporary closure of Beach Access 5 and 6. The closure is due to dangerous rip current conditions and high tides along the Gulf coast.
Cascos asked law enforcement to ensure no one bring vehicle to those beach accesses.
County leaders will continue to monitor conditions.
