HIDALGO - After surrendering a season high nine goals at Tulsa Sunday, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (20-21-7) took Evansville to a shootout Tuesday night at State Farm Arena. However, for the third game in a row, the Bees couldn't claim two standings points after a 4-3 decision. Only two home shooters, Tomas Klempa and Brandon Campos, were able to light the lamp in the shootout phase. Campos had scored in the third period to give the Bees a 3-2 lead. Yet, with less than three minutes to play in regulation, Evansville (29-13-4) scored to force overtime. John Murray stopped 30 shots in the first 65 minutes to advance the Bees to the shootout.
