La Joya - Border Patrol Agents capture group of illegal immigrants and seize drugs nearby.
Border Patrol Agents captured a group of 17 illegal immigrants south of La Joya.
Border Patrol Spokesman Henry Mendiola tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS they captured the group during a routine traffic stop.
The agents also seized nearly 250 pounds of marijuana nearby. There were no arrested in connection to the drugs.
