WESLACO - Starr County leaders will submit their border wall plans to the federal government next week.

The Starr County industrial foundation says their proposal focuses on several efforts including private property rights, current and future development opportunities and federal operation needs.

The foundation hopes if approved, their plan will minimize the negative impact of border wall construction in the area.
