PROGRESO - The two boys suspected of setting an abandoned home in Progreso on fire are out of juvenile detention.
Progreso police say the 12- and 13-year-old boys threw fireworks into an abandoned house and set it on fire. A judge released the boys back to their mothers Monday afternoon.
The case against them isn't over just yet. The district attorney will have to decide if he'll take the boys to court or negotiate probation. Progreso police say this is the biggest arson case they've seen involving children.
