Brownsville Police Searching for Driver in Hit-and-Run

BROWNSVILLE - Police are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Brownsville.

Alberto Balli, 21, was killed while crossing the street Tuesday night. It happened at the intersection of Price and Old Port Isabel Road.

We're told the driver involved was in a Ford Focus. Witnesses told police the driver turned into a bank parking lot, stopped, checked his tires and then left the scene.

The driver is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s. If you have information on the case, you're asked to call Brownsville Crime Stoppers at 956-546-TIPS.
