Brownsville Stabbing Suspect Arrested

BROWNSVILLE - A man wanted for two separate stabbings is locked up. David Mendez Hernandez was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Police found him, while responding to a call of a suspicious person on the 1100 block of East Madison in Brownsville.

The first stabbing Hernandez is wanted in connection to happened in August. According to officers, Hernandez attacked a man following a fight on the 2500 block of East 30th Street.

The second incident happened in December at La Movida Bar on the 1200 block of East Adams. Officers said Hernandez stabbed two men at the business.
