Brownsville Woman Charged in Embezzlement Case

BROWNSVILLE - Police arrested a Brownsville woman on embezzlement charges.
Officials said Veronica Vasquez turned herself in to police on Friday. Investigators allege she embezzled more than $30,000 from her employer.
Vasquez was arraigned at a Brownsville municipal court. She is free on bond.
Vasquez could face up to 10 years in prison.
