Bundles of Marijuana Found in Edinburg home

EDINBURG - Investigators found about 67 pounds of marijuana hidden in a trash can in an Edinburg home. Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies also recovered a 12-guage shotgun from the house on the 12700 block of Lemon Drive on Saturday.
The narcotics unit got information that a gang was stashing marijuana at the home. A man identified as Juan Carlos Garcia was arrested at the scene and two other people were detained.
Garcia faces charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
