Chariot Carriers are recalling their bicycle trailers and conversion kits. The bicycle trailer's hitch mechanisms can crack and break. This can cause it to detach from the bicycle.
The items were sold at stores nationwide and online from 2005 to 2010. If you have one, stop using it immediately and contact the company for free repair kit. For more information, contact Chariot Carriers at (800) 262-8651 between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's website at http://www.chariotcarriers.com/english/html/consumer_advisory.php.
You can also get more information on the CPSC web site (http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml12/12085.html).
