Chloe Sutton breaks meet record in 400 free

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Two-time Olympian Chloe Sutton broke the meet record in the 400-meter freestyle Friday night in the Arena Grand Prix event at YMCA Aquatic Center.

Sutton, from Mission Viejo, Calif., finished in 4 minutes, 10.11 seconds to edge Hungary's Katinka Hosszu.

Hosszu, the 400 individual medley and 200 freestyle winner Thursday night, was second in 4:10.50. She won the 200 butterfly Friday in a meet-record 2:08.47.

Americans Micah Lawrence and Sean Mahoney also broke meet records. Lawrence, from Pflugerville, Texas, won the 200 breaststroke in 2:25.97, and Mahoney, from Rio Vista, Calif., took the 200 breaststroke in 2:14.03.

Canada's Ryan Cochrane won the 400 freestyle, breaking his own meet record with a time of 3:49.83.
