SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - Cameron County officials have issued a warning for beachgoers about the presence of Portuguese man-of-war at area beaches.
The polyp colony can deliver a powerful sting even after death, officials said.
Officials said people should stay away from the Portuguese man-of-war.
