PARIS (AP) A French prosecutor says the younger daughter of the British-Iraqi couple slain in the French Alps is back in Britain, while the older daughter has come out of a coma.
Eric Maillaud, the prosecutor for Annecy near where the shootings occurred, told The Associated Press in a text message that Zeena, the 4-year-old daughter of Saad and Iqbal al Hilli, returned to Britain on Sunday along with two relatives who came to retrieve her.
Zaina, the couple's 7-year-old daughter was seriously injured in the attack.
She has come out of the artificial coma doctors had kept her in, but Maillaud wrote Saturday that the older girl remains on sedatives and cannot yet talk to investigators.
Along with the couple, two other people were killed in the attack Wednesday.
