MISSION - Students at John H. Shary Elementary in Sharyland are being released at 1 p.m. due to a power outage at the school.

The campus is located off 495 and Glasscock Road. We're told buses will be running accordingly.

Sharyland ISD Superintendent Dr. Virginia Richter told CHANNEL 5 NEWS that if there isn't a parent or guardian at the bus stop, the child will be brought back to school where staff will remain in place until the end of the regular school day.
