EDINBURG - Police in Edinburg released the name of the woman killed in an early morning crash. Investigators say 19-year-old Crystal Ortiz of Hargill was heading south in her car, when she crossed the median and drove into the northbound lanes.

She hit a welding truck and died in the crash. It happened on North Highway 281 and El Cibolo Road at around 4:30 a.m.

We're told the two people in the welding truck were not hurt. Police have ordered an autopsy and are waiting for those results, as the investigation continues.
