Edinburg City Council to Honor Marine Injured in Line of Duty

EDINBURG - The city of Edinburg will honor a Valley Marine wounded in Afghanistan.
The city council will honor Marine Sgt. Jacob de la Garza at the city council meeting Tuesday night at 6. Edinburg City Hall is located at 415 W. University Drive.
De la Garza served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was wounded in the line of duty after a roadside bomb exploded in a small town northeast of Kandahar on May 21.
