Edinburg Hit-and-Run Victim Identified

EDINBURG - Texas Department of Public Safety officials released the name of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night.
TxDPS officials said Felipe Turrubiates, 63, was hit while he was riding his bicycle on Rogers Road north of Edinburg. The incident happened at about 7 p.m.
TxDPS Sgt. Johnny Hernandez said Turrubiates remains in critical condition. The victim lost a leg in the accident.
