Elderly Victim in Brownsville Accident Identified

BROWNSVILLE - Police released the name of an elderly man hit by a car in Brownsville yesterday morning.
He was identified as 76-year-old Cresencio Solis. We're told a driver struck him, while he was trying to cross Minnesota Road.
Witnesses tell us he flew several feet. He suffered head trauma and a serious leg injury and was taken to a San Antonio hospital. He's listed in critical condition.
Investigators say they plan to cite the driver.
