MISSION - The only girls' basketball game of the night gets things rolling in this edition of Fast Break Friday. Only two playoff spots are still to be decided for the girls here at home. San Isidro and San Perlita will play Saturday afternoon for the last spot from 32-A, division 2. On Friday, it was win or go home for La Joya and Mission at the Eagles' gym. Alexander was waiting for the winner and will now face Mission after a 37-31 decision over the Lady Coyotes. The second game in the building was the regularly scheduled boys' contest between Rowe and Mission. The Warriors ran their record to 23-and-7 for the season with a solid 66-33 road victory over the Eagles. The final stop of the night was in 31-5A and the Economedes boys playing host to Harlingen South. It took overtime before this game was decided with the Jaguars stopping the Hawks 73-69.
