BROWNSVILLE - Two people were handed over to local police after federal authorities caught then with marijuana.

Two men are in police custody after U.S. Border Patrol agents noticed four packages of marijuana in their vehicle.

The U.S. Border Patrol said they handed the suspects to Brownsville Police because the amount of marijuana the men were allegedly caught with was under the federal prosecution threshold.
