WESLACO - Valley teams headed to next week's 7-on-7 state tournament at College Station will get one more chance to prepare locally for the event. Four of the five teams are confirmed for action at Bobby Lackey Stadium in Weslaco on Wednesday. Division 1 tournament representatives Edcouch-Elsa and Weslaco will be joined by Division 2 entrants La Villa and Port Isabel in some pre-state games. The Valley's fifth entrant in the annual 7-on-7 event, Harlingen, has yet to be confirmed for Wednesday's play.
