Fine Tuning Their Skills

WESLACO - With state 7-on-7 tournament play just a week away for five Valley teams, the local qualifiers used Wednesday night to fine tune the skills they'll need to be successful on the Texas A&M campus. La Villa and Port Isabel will go first in the Division 2 tournament starting July 19th. The other three Valley contestants, Edcouch-Elsa, Harlingen and Weslaco will all open play on Friday, July 20th. All five teams took part in Wednesday's tune-up held at Bobby Lackey Stadium.
