EDINBURG - Edinburg North rolled to its fourth straight win to open the 2012 football season with a 31-6 victory Thursday night over Juarez-Lincoln. The Cougars remain perfect after two weeks of the district 30-5A season. In other action on Thursday, Harlingen evened its record at 2-and-2 with a road win at Lopez 48-21. The Cardinals are 2-and-0 in 32-5A league play. And in Laredo, Rio Grande CIty went back and forth with Laredo United South before losing 23-20. Friday's Game of the Week matches first week district winners Brownsville Veterans Memorial and Harlingen South. Stay tuned to CHANNEL 5 to follow First & Goal coverage all season long.
