Ford plans to recall more than 140,000 Ford Focuses, because the passenger side windshield wiper can fail. The cars were built between August 2010 and October 2011.
Federal safety regulators say a seal in the wiper motor wiring may be missing. Water can get inside and cause the wiper to stop, which can lead to a crash.
Starting next month, the company will start fixing those wiper blades free of charge.
