EDINBURG – A former Hidalgo County Court bailiff who was accused in a drug-selling plot has pleaded guilty.

Oscar De La Cruz was arrested in May.

He is accused of using his position to conspire with others for the purpose of selling drugs.

De La Cruz entered a guilty plea to those charges last week.

His sentencing is scheduled for March.
