Group Detained after Chase with Authorities

PENITAS - Eight illegal immigrants are in custody, after a morning chase. That's according to Border Patrol spokesperson Henry Mendiola.
Authorities are still investigating the incident. We learned the chase started in Penitas and ended in Palmview, just before 9:30 a.m.
The vehicle involved was a truck. The people taken into custody were from Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico. Penitas officers arrested the driver.
