SAN JUAN - A group of community activists is suing the city of San Juan for alleged conspiracy and malicious prosecution.

The lawsuit stems from the arrest of the activists last year. Two men and two women were accused of forging signatures on a petition to recall city commissioners. Those charges were eventually dropped.

Now the activists claim city officials conspired to make up the charges in an attempt to intimidate them. They're asking for unspecified damages. The defendants deny all the allegations.
