FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) Military officials say a Texas soldier is among the two servicemen from Fort Bragg killed in Afghanistan. Thirty-one-year-old Staff Sergeant Kashif Memon of Houston and 22-year-old Sergeant Clinton Ruiz of Murrieta, California died of wounds suffered October 25th when their unit was attacked by small arms fire in Khas Uruzgan, Oruzgan Province.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) About 100 Entergy Arkansas workers are heading to the East Coast in advance of a hurricane that forecasters fear could leave millions without power. Entergy says 60 linemen from Arkansas are among 305 linemen from its companies in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas who left yesterday. Hurricane Sandy is expected to make landfall in Delaware by Tuesday night.
