ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Last Sunday the Dallas Cowboys honored fallen teammate Jerry Brown Junior by draping his jersey over the bench in Cincinnati, where they won 20-19 on a last second field goal. The Cowboys will wear helmet decals featuring Brown's Number 53 in today's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Cowboys Stadium.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) A top administrator for the troubled El Paso school district has resigned amid scrutiny into her alleged role into a test-cheating scheme that sent the former superintendent to prison. The El Paso Times reports that former interim superintendent Terri Jordan resigned Friday and that two other administrators could be fired next week. The district is in turmoil over what prosecutors say was a conspiracy to remove low-performing students from classrooms.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) A New Orleans federal judge has scheduled a status conference tomorrow to discuss a request to postpone the trial of two BP rig supervisors charged with manslaughter in the April 2010 deaths of 11 workers on the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig. U.S. District Judge Stanwood Duval Junior is scheduled to discuss the matter with defense attorneys and prosecutors during a telephone call tomorrow.

DALLAS (AP) A small Texas startup has sued former American League MVP Josh Hamilton over a "Play Hard, Pray Harder" clothing line sold by a company the slugger's wife helped launch. The federal lawsuit accuses North Carolina-based ScriptureArt of using a slogan already claimed by Dallas-based Play Hard Pray Harder LLC. Hamilton recently signed a free agency contract with the Los Angeles Angels.
