HOUSTON (AP) Macy's is closing its store in downtown Houston after the mayor said the department store lost its lease. The owner of the 791,000-square-foot store plans to demolish the building. It opened in 1947 as the flagship outlet for Foley's department stores, which ultimately became part of Macy's.
