AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Texas Republican leaders are back to work at the Capitol. Governor Rick Perry will join Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst and House Speaker Joe Straus today to lay out their plans for a new legislative session. Their agenda will likely include tax relief, abortion restrictions and spending restraint.

HOUSTON (AP) A judge could decide if a kidnapped Houston boy who was found in March should remain in foster care. Eight-year-old Miguel Morin has been in foster care since authorities found him living in East Texas. He was kidnapped as an infant.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) A federal judge in El Paso is expected to sentence a British businessman today who pleaded guilty to trying to buy missile parts and resell them to Iran. Christopher Tappin pleaded guilty in November to a deal that calls for a 33-month prison sentence.

MIDLAND, Texas (AP) Grand jurors in Midland County are set to consider the case of a train collision that killed four veterans who were riding on a parade float last fall. The county's prosecutor hasn't said whether his office is recommending an indictment in the November accident.
