HOUSTON (AP) A Houston teenager whose 2010 videotaped beating by police during a break-in investigation led to the firing of four officers has pleaded guilty to another burglary. A judge yesterday ordered a pre-sentence investigation for 18-year-old Chad Holley, who faces up to 20 years in prison. Holley was 15 in 2010 when security video showed officers appearing to kick and beat him.

FORNEY, Texas (AP) Authorities say at least 10 passengers were injured when a Greyhound bus collided with a car east of Dallas. Forney fire Chief Rick Townsend says investigators are trying to determine which vehicle was responsible for yesterday afternoon's accident. The collision briefly shut down part of westbound Highway 80.

MIDLAND, Texas (AP) A West Texas woman has pleaded guilty in a nearly $6 million investment scam using fake bank documents to inflate a person's net worth on paper. Prosecutors say 41-year-old Darlene Bishop of Odessa pleaded guilty yesterday to a wire fraud count. Bishop faces up to 20 years in prison.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Governor Rick Perry will deliver the keynote address at an annual policy event organized by a leading state conservative think tank. Perry is scheduled to address the Texas Public Policy Foundation gathering in downtown Austin this morning. The event is meant to lay out conservative goals for the latest legislative session.
