SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Authorities say three Utah men are dead in a plane crash in East Texas. The crash occurred yesterday morning shortly after their Piper PA-46 plane took off from an airport near Paris, Texas. The Texas Department of Public Safety identifies the men as 50-year-old Michael Endo, 44-year-old Michael Dale Bradley, and 49-year-old Rob Thompson.

DALLAS (AP) A newspaper report says only a handful of women's health care resources listed online for the new, state-funded Texas Women's Health Program actually could confirm that they were participating in the program. The Dallas Morning News says it surveyed the 336 contacts listed online for the program in the Dallas area alone. It found that only 15 percent of the 55 unrepeated physicians and offices listed knew they were part of the program or were taking new patients.

HALTOM CITY, Texas (AP) Investigators continue seeking clues to the cause of a North Texas house fire that left a woman and three of her grandchildren dead. Authorities traced the Haltom City fire's origin to the living room near a live Christmas tree. About 100 people gathered at a candlelight vigil in the Fort Worth suburb Friday night to remember the victims.

DALLAS (AP) A Dallas man is accused of murder after police found his wife stabbed to death in their bedroom with their 2 young children still in their apartment. A police affidavit says Ismael Vergara was treated at a hospital for what were determined to be self-inflicted stab wounds to his chest.
