DALLAS (AP) The Dallas Museum of Art is rolling out a new program that includes free admission and free memberships. In the program called "DMA Friends & Partners," members will get a card to track their participation. Members can then earn rewards that include access to special programs. The museum will still charge for special exhibitions and some events.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) El Paso County authorities say they shot and killed a pit bull that had bitten off a West Texas woman's thumb. The El Paso Times reports the 70-year-old woman had been visiting her grandson on Saturday in Tornillo when the dog attacked her. Sheriff's office spokeswoman Deputy Angelica Becerra says deputies killed the dog after it had showed aggressiveness.
NEW YORK (AP) The pension fund for some of Hostess Brands' workers has hired an investment bank to represent employees and pensioners as the Twinkie maker sells off its brands. The bakers' union says the New York firm Gordian Group LLC will represent the fund. Texas-based Hostess filed for bankruptcy in November.
