KAUFMAN, Texas (AP) Authorities are investigating the deaths of a North Texas county district attorney and his wife who were found dead in a rural Kaufman County home. County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lieutenant Justin Lewis said last night he couldn't discuss whether investigators believe the slayings of Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia are linked to the January 31st killing of McLelland's former assistant county district attorney, Mark Hasse.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) A Texan who became the first in the nation to receive a full face transplant recipient after a 2008 power line accident has wed another burn victim he met at a support group. EL PASO, Texas (AP) Some parents and students are upset as the embattled El Paso Independent School District board considers removing four principals and four assistant principals this week. Texas education officials are seeking to replace the school board amid a testing scandal. The U.S. Justice Department has been asked to decide whether that would be proper.
