WEST, Texas (AP) Officials and family members have identified four more first responders who died in last week's deadly Texas fertilizer plant explosion. At least 14 people were killed in last Wednesday explosion at the plant in West, Texas. Professional organizations and family identified the victims as Abbott volunteer fire man Jerry Chapman, EMS worker Kevin Sanders and brothers Doug and Robert Snokhous, who were both firefighters in West.

Officials announced yesterday that a memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon on the campus of Baylor University. The state fire marshal's office said yesterday that all fires have been extinguished at the blast scene.
HOUSTON (AP) The U.S. Coast Guard has called off its search for four fishermen who went missing off the Texas Gulf Coast after their boat sank. The effort was suspended yesterday afternoon after crews searched a 5,400-square-mile area with planes, helicopters and boats. The vessel sank Friday morning not far from the Texas-Louisiana border.
SHERMAN, Texas (AP) A sheriff's deputy in North Texas has died and authorities have arrested a repeat drunken driver for allegedly hitting him while he was directing traffic. The Grayson County Sheriff's Office says Chad Christian Key was hit by a vehicle Saturday night near U.S. Highway 82 east of Sherman. Authorities say the driver was later arrested after failing to stop.
