When the store opened, they got their new iPhones - with credit for the stolen ones.

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) It's more than four years in prison for a San Antonio man who pleaded guilty to mail fraud - a scheme that cost a Lubbock hospital almost $700,000. Robert Gregory Bruce was sentenced yesterday to prison and restitution. He could have faced up to 20 years on the allegation of submitting false bills to the hospital.

DALLAS (AP) Arlington firefighters have had to use a ladder truck to rescue several motorists whose vehicles stopped in high water. And Waco police reported flooded roads as well. Texas has been getting soaked by rain, making some roads impassable because of floodwaters.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Early miscues are reminding GOP front-runners in Texas to be careful.
