HOUSTON (AP) Geico is planning to create hundreds of jobs in suburban Houston. The insurance company founded in Fort Worth says it will spend more than $8 million to open a claims center in Katy. The jobs will range from entry-level to what Geico calls "fast-track management."

RENO, Texas (AP) Another earthquake has been recorded in the same part of North Texas shaken by at least 19 small quakes last month. Government scientists say Tuesday's shaker near Reno was magnitude 3.4. No damage or injuries have been reported.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) A construction worker has been hurt in a fall at Kyle Field in College Station. Police say the man fell about four stories while working on the $450 million renovation of the Texas A&M football stadium. His condition isn't known.

DALLAS (AP) Farrah Fawcett fans will have a chance to bid on the late actress' scripts, costumes and personal mementoes at a Dallas auction on Friday. The items up for bid will include her 1977 People's Choice Award for her work on the TV series "Charlie's Angels." The Corpus Christi native died in 2009.
