SAN ANTONIO (AP) The family of a San Antonio university student shot dead by a police officer says the police account of the shooting is inconsistent with the son's character. Alamo Heights police say Robert Redus, a student at the nearby University of the Incarnate Word, was shot repeatedly Friday when he charged the officer after a traffic stop. But in a statement Redus' family says he wasn't aggressive.

DALLAS (AP) Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld took inspiration from the American West for his Metiers d'Art traveling fashion show, held this year in Dallas. Models with Western-style hats and boots wore outfits adorned with fringe, leather and feathers at last night's show in Fair Park. Chanel turned an exhibition hall into a barn for the night, complete with a hay-scattered runway. For more than a decade, Lagerfeld has picked a city linked to the fashion house for the theme of the show, which is staged each December to highlight the work of its artisans.

HOUSTON (AP) It's been years since tickets were sold for seats at the Astrodome, but for the next few days the seats themselves will be up for sale. Officials for Reliant Park, where the Astrodome is situated, says would begin a weeklong online sale of 2,400 pairs of seats from the iconic domed stadium today. Seats will sell as-is for $200 per pair at reliantpark.com, with a limit of four pairs per purchase.
