WACO, Texas (AP) Baylor University and an independent alumni association are at odds over what role the group should play. It's a disagreement resulting in the organization being locked out of its campus offices. Baylor Alumni Association Chief Operating Officer Chad Wooten says the lockout came a day after a Dec. 8 deadline in which the university demanded the group cease using the school's name and trademarks.
DALLAS (AP) A Dallas man accused of pretending to be somebody else in order to get into a Jay Z concert is faces criminal charges. John Henry Johnson has been charged with criminal trespass and failure to identify after police say he tried to pass himself off as an Italian music executive. Dallas police say the 45-year-old Johnson used counterfeit backstage credentials on Saturday to get into American Airlines Center, where Jay Z was performing in concert.
EL PASO, Texas (AP) Federal officials have deported a Mexican citizen wanted in his home country for murder and aggravated robbery. Oscar Sanchez-Rodarte yesterday was turned over at an international bridge in El Paso to officials with Mexico's Attorney General's office. The 34-year-old Sanchez-Rodarte had been arrested trying to enter the United States on two different occasions in October in Arizona and New Mexico.

AMARILLO, Texas (AP) No injuries were reported after a driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a Texas Panhandle home. The driver was speeding on Interstate 40 in Amarillo Monday afternoon when he missed his exit. No one inside the home was injured. Police say the driver was speeding and issued him a ticket.
