AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Polls in Travis County opened four hours late Tuesday morning because of icy roads and a county judge will let them stay open two hours later. Polls at most sites across Texas opened as normal for the regular 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. voting period.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott says connecting with Hispanic voters is a major goal for the Texas GOP this year. Abbott and Democratic candidate Wendy Davis spent last weekend in the Rio Grande Valley trying to make new inroads to Hispanic voters ahead of the primary.

The struggling electronics retailer made the announcement while reporting a wider quarterly loss after a disappointing holiday season. Sales at stores open at least a year -- a key indicator of a retailer's health -- sank 19 percent.

NEW YORK (AP) Bruce Springsteen will headline next month's NCAA March Madness Music Festival at Reunion Park in Dallas. Springsteen and his band will close out the three-day festival on April 6th. It will also feature Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and the Killers.
