AUSTIN, Texas (AP) An Austin, Texas technology company says 20 of its employees were aboard the Malaysia Airlines plane that went missing this weekend over the South China Sea. Jacey Zuniga, a spokeswoman for Freescale Semiconductor, says 12 Malaysian and 8 Chinese employees are "confirmed passengers." She says no American citizen Freescale employees were on flight MH370.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Lady Gaga is scheduled to give the keynote address at the South by Southwest music festival and conference in Austin, Texas. Festival organizers made the announcement today that the singer will follow in the footsteps of past speakers that have included Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed and Dave Grohl. Lady Gaga will also perform at the festival on Thursday and then speak on Friday night.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) The Fort Worth Roman Catholic Diocese has reached another settlement involving sexual abuse claims against a former priest who died in 1999. The Star-Telegram reports that terms of the settlement were not disclosed this weekend. James Reilly was pastor of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington from 1969 to 1987, when he retired. It wasn't immediately known Saturday how many cases involving Reilly the diocese has settled.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) A former South Texas school board trustee has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexually assaulting a girl. The Corpus Christi Caller-Times reports that Kingsville school board trustee Rudy Macareno was sentenced by a jury on Friday.
