FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) Investigators say they may never determine what caused Specialist Ivan (ee-VAHN') Lopez to go on a deadly shooting rampage at Fort Hood, despite evidence that suggests an argument ignited the incident. That rampage left three other soldiers dead and 16 wounded before the gunman took his own life Wednesday.

HOUSTON (AP) A group of sex offenders serving civil commitment sentences at an unlicensed Houston boarding house are being moved back to a halfway house after neighbors discovered their presence and complained. State Representative Sylvester Turner of Houston told the Chronicle on Friday that the offenders "are leaving no ifs, ands or buts about it."
KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) Two North Texas residents in the country illegally have been arrested in northwestern Arizona for allegedly having forged passports and garbage bags filled with marijuana. Mohave County Sheriff's deputies say 28-year-old Jose Luis Lozano and 28-year-old Juan Antonio remained jailed Friday and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed holds on both men. The two Dallas residents were arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday as they were driving to Texas from California.
