HOUSTON (AP) A student on a Houston-area school bus and a person in an SUV have been hurt after the vehicles collided and caught fire. Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District officials say the accident happened late yesterday afternoon. The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the SUV rear-ended the bus.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) More than two dozen suspects have been arrested in a North Texas drug sweep targeting an alleged methamphetamine ring. The Texas Department of Public Safety says at least four more suspects are sought in the investigation of drug activity in Young County since 2012. DPS says 26 people were arrested on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) The Texas Department of Public Safety has urged drivers to use caution around motorcycles and scooters after nearly 500 traffic-related deaths last year. Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month began today. DPS has kicked off its "Share the Road" and "Look Twice" for motorcycles public awareness campaigns. DPS says Texas has more than 440,000 registered motorcycles and mopeds.

MISSOURI CITY, Texas (AP) A Houston-area school bus driver faces a review after she allegedly became upset with the children, pulled over, threw the keys to a student and called for a replacement driver. The Fort Bend Independent School District has removed the driver amid the investigation. The students from Baines Middle School in Missouri City allegedly were loud on the bus.
