AUSTIN, Texas (AP) A West Texas legislator has been released from jail after serving less than half of her 15-day sentence over a DWI wreck in Austin. State Representative Naomi Gonzalez was sentenced to 15 days after pleading no contest to drunken driving in a March 2013 traffic accident involving two vehicles and a bicyclist. Investigators say Gonzalez had a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit for driving.

DALLAS (AP) A Dallas man whose sentence for raping a schoolmate sparked outrage will appear before a new judge today. in the case to learn the conditions of his freedom. NEW YORK (AP) Amazon is expanding its Sunday package delivery service to Dallas and five other Texas cities. Sunday delivery is available to Amazon customers for no extra charge. Notice of the service will appear at checkout if it's available in the customer's region. Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Waco and College Station will also get the service soon.
