KATY, Texas (AP) A 20-year-old has been arrested in the fatal shootings of his parents at their home in a gated community in Katy. The Fort Bend County sheriff's office said Ryan Walton was arrested yesterday in the Rosenberg area, about 20 miles south of Katy. He's being held without bond in the Fort Bend County Jail.

SPRINGTOWN, Texas (AP) A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for clues leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot a nursing dog and left her body in a cage by a North Texas roadside, along with her 10 puppies. The grim find was made Wednesday morning in Springtown, a Parker County town 25 miles northwest of Fort Worth.
