MORTON, Texas (AP) A single-engine airplane en route to Central Texas crashed in a remote area of West Texas and killed all three people aboard. The Federal Aviation Administration says the single-engine Piper PA-46 aircraft dropped off of air traffic radar last night while en route to Brenham. The FAA says all three people aboard were killed.

SAN ANGELO, Texas (AP) San Angelo police have identified a man who fell 140 feet to his death while working on a downtown telephone tower. Authorities say Cody Freeman died shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday while performing repair work on the tower. A police statement says the man was having difficulty with his safety equipment when he fell.

DALLAS (AP) Dallas police say a fight in a park has left a boy hospitalized with stab wounds and four of his middle school classmates in custody. A fourth and final suspect in the Tuesday afternoon attack was brought to police Wednesday by his parents. Police say all of the suspects are ages 14 and 15 and attend T.W. Browne Middle School in Dallas with the victim.

DALLAS (AP) Federal authorities have arrested two Central Texas men accused of expressing a desire to go abroad and help terrorist groups in Syria and Africa. Prosecutors announced the arrests of Rahatul Khan and Michael Wolfe. A criminal complaint says Khan said in an online chat room that he was recruiting fighters for "jihad." A separate complaint accuses Wolfe of arranging to fly with his family to Turkey so he could enter neighboring Syria and fight there.
