WASHINGTON (AP) Governor Rick Perry says he "stepped right in it" when he compared gays and alcoholics. When he was asked last week if homosexuality is a disorder, Perry responded that if he had the "genetic coding" to be an alcoholic, he still has the choice not to drink and he looks at homosexuality the same way. This week, Perry says he should have stayed focused on the importance of creating jobs.
