DALLAS (AP) A 5-year-old autistic boy who wandered off from his family's home has been found dead in a neighbor's pond east of Dallas. Kaufman County authorities say a search for the boy began Saturday afternoon. The boy lived in Ables Springs. The boy's body was found at the pond about an hour after the search began. Foul play was not suspected.

HOUSTON (AP) One man is dead and another injured following a shooting in a parking lot in southwest Houston. The suspect fled the scene near Bissonnet yesterday morning. Houston Police say a man was killed and another was shot in the leg. The injured man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital for treatment.

FALFURRIAS, Texas (AP) Two Texas state lawmakers are calling for an investigation of mass graves of immigrants exhumed in a South Texas cemetery this month. State Representative Terry Canales says he has no doubt that crimes were committed in the haphazard burial of immigrant remains at a cemetery in Falfurrias. State Senator Chuy Hinojosa is calling for a criminal investigation.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Texas' top conservative stars are getting first-hand looks at a surge of unaccompanied children caught crossing the border with Mexico illegally. U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and Attorney General Greg Abbott will tour facilities housing unaccompanied minors today at San Antonio's Lackland Air Force Base. Governor Rick Perry has urged "decisive action" from President Barack Obama.
